Hello, 
I started the creation of Lilind while I was still working as a nurse in the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the National Cardiology Hospital in Sofia, Bulgaria.
I have always had a passion for looking for new and more sustainable alternatives to the life around us. I felt Lilind was going to be that new project. I pulled the sewing machine out of the closet and started sewing!

The first cloth pads I made were the ones I needed, I had to make sure they really worked. For two years, I completely moved off using disposable menstrual pads.
I tried different options of design and materials, until my choice settled on the current model, which satisfied all my requirements for comfort, safety and ease of use. Every recommendation or request for a new product from my customers has also helped me make Lilind what it is today.

As the shop grew, I realized my passion for making reusables and caring for Lilind was worth, so I quit my job in the summer of 2016 to follow my dreams!

When we live in a world full of disposables, we understand how important it is to reduce our waste, both from an environmental and cost-saving perspective.

In recent years, we've had the incredible opportunity to build a wonderful team to facilitate production. We would not be here today without each and every one of our team members. We have fun every day, but our most important task is to handmade the highest quality products for our customers!
